fun, but parking adds up

grabbed a vacation package for the family and we did the penguin encounter. kids loved it! wished parking was included with the ticket though, that's an extra 30 bucks on top of everything else.

Good experience, some minor issues

I purchased a Two Park Ticket for SeaWorld and Aquatica Orlando. The website was pretty easy to navigate to find the multi-park options. After selecting the dates, I went through the checkout process, which was straightforward enough. I received the confirmation email almost immediately, and the tickets were attached as PDFs. The QR codes scanned fine at the park gates, no hassle there. What I did notice was that the 'All-Day Dining Deal' looked promising, but the value wasn't quite there for us, so we skipped it. Customer service wasn't needed, thankfully. The whole process from purchase to entry was smooth. My only minor gripe was the optional add-ons during checkout; they felt a bit pushy, but I just clicked past them. Overall, a solid booking experience.

Smooth process, small nitpick

I recently bought a Gold Pass for Busch Gardens Tampa Bay. The online purchase flow was intuitive; I found the Gold Pass details quickly and understood the benefits. The payment gateway was secure, and my digital pass was accessible in my account within minutes. I appreciate the clear breakdown of what the pass includes, like parking and discounts. Delivery was instant since it's all digital. I haven't had to contact support, so can't speak to that. My only small criticism is that the add-on offers for Quick Queue popped up a few times, which felt a little repetitive, but it didn't detract much from the overall positive transaction. Good value for a year of visits.

Great deal on vacation package

I was looking for a good deal and snagged a Vacation Package that included Discovery Cove Admission and a hotel bundle. The price difference compared to buying everything separately was significant, which was a huge plus for my budget. I spent a good amount of time comparing options, and this package offered the best value. The website laid out the savings clearly. My tickets and hotel confirmation landed in my inbox smoothly. It felt like I got a lot for my money, and the booking process was simple, which is always a bonus when you're trying to save a buck.

Easy ticket purchase

Bought a Single Day Ticket for SeaWorld Orlando. Website was quick. Got the email with the ticket right away. Scanned at the gate, no problems. Park was fun. Worth the price.

can you bring your own snacks and drinks into SeaWorld parks? trying to save a bit of money on food.

A Anna Osei 1 month ago
Mostly no, they're pretty strict about outside food. I mean, small baby food or special dietary stuff is usually fine, but no big coolers or lunchboxes.

Yeah, I tried to bring in a sandwich once and had to toss it. They're cool with water bottles though, you can usually refill them inside. Just don't expect to pack a whole picnic.

are the animal shows at SeaWorld free once you're inside the park, or do you have to pay extra for those?

N Noor B. 1 month ago
The main animal shows, like the orca or dolphin shows, are included with your park admission. You just find a seat. They do have some special 'encounters' that cost extra, like swimming with dolphins or behind-the-scenes tours.

D Dana Bennett 1 month ago
Yeah, the big shows are part of your ticket. If you want like, VIP seating or to actually interact with an animal up close, *that's* extra. But just watching the shows is included.

is there any difference between SeaWorld and Discovery Cove? Like, is Discovery Cove way better or something?

D Dan Torres 2 months ago
Oh yeah, totally different vibe. Discovery Cove is all-inclusive, much smaller, and focused on up-close animal interactions, especially swimming with dolphins. SeaWorld is a traditional theme park with rides, shows, and larger exhibits. Discovery Cove is way more expensive but also a much more premium, relaxed experience.

Discovery Cove is like, luxury animal encounter. SeaWorld is more like a regular theme park with shows and rides. If you want to swim with dolphins and chill, Discovery Cove. If you want rides and big shows, SeaWorld. They're both cool but different price points and experiences.

thinking about going to Busch Gardens in Florida, how long does it take to get tickets if I buy online? like, do they email them right away or is there a waiting period?

J Julia Whitfield 2 months ago
Nah, they're pretty quick. I bought some last month and got the email with the barcode tickets almost instantly. Just print 'em or have 'em ready on your phone.

N Noor 2 months ago
I've always gotten mine right away. As soon as you complete the purchase, they send the link to download or print your tickets. So you can literally buy them in the parking lot if you want, lol.

what's the deal with parking? is it included with tickets or do you have to pay extra?

B Ben 1 month ago
Unless you have an annual pass (some tiers include it) or a specific vacation package, you pretty much always pay extra for parking. It's usually a separate charge when you get there.

G Greg W. 1 month ago
Nah, it's not included with standard tickets. It's a separate fee, like 30 bucks or something, I think. You can buy it online ahead of time though, sometimes saves a couple of bucks.

i'm a Florida resident, are there any special deals for us, or do I just buy regular tickets?

N Neil Silva 1 month ago
Absolutely, Florida residents always get better prices. You usually just pick the 'Florida Resident' option when you're buying tickets online and they apply the discount automatically. You'll need to show ID at the gate though.

N Nick E. 1 month ago
Yep, my friend just did this for SeaWorld Orlando. The discount pops up once you select that ticket type. Make sure your ID matches the billing info maybe? I think that's how it works.

can you use more than one discount at a time? like, if I have a military discount can I also apply a Black Friday deal?

L Laura C. 2 months ago
Pretty sure they only let you use one discount at a time. Like, the Black Friday deal *is* the discount, so you wouldn't stack a military one on top of it. It's usually either/or.

A Alex 2 months ago
Afaik, no. Most places only let you use one promo or special rate per purchase. You'll have to pick whichever one gives you the best savings.

hey, trying to figure out if it's worth getting the annual pass. what all does it include beyond just park entry?

J James Ito 1 month ago
Yeah, the annual pass is pretty good. You usually get free parking, which is a big one. And discounts on food and merchandise inside the park too. Some tiers even include guest tickets.
5
D Daisy 1 month ago
It really depends on which pass level you get. Silver, Gold, Platinum all have different perks. Like, my Gold pass gets me free parking and some Quick Queue discounts, plus a few free guest passes throughout the year. Definitely check the specific pass you're looking at on their site, it lays it out pretty clear.
